Second Punjab Chapter Indian Association of Adolescent Health Conference was organized successfully by Department of Community Medicine & SGRD College of Nursing. Dr. Prema Bali, Founder President and Dr. Jugal Kishore, Secretary General of IAAH delivered key note addresses. Conference was inaugurated by Dr. Indarjit Kaur, President, All India Pingalwada Charitable Society, Amritsar. Around 250 delegates from Medical and Nursing Colleges participated in the conference. The Conference was awarded with 4CME Hours by Punjab Medical Council. Ms. Kulwinder Kaur, Assistant Professor won the best poster presentation award. |

Community Health Nursing department celebrated World Health Day on the theme of “Universal Health Coverage: Everyone, Everywhere”. Various Competitions like Slogan Writing, Glass Painting, Salad Making, Vertical Garden, Debate and Quiz were held and winners were awarded with certificate and prizes. |

1st National UG Nursing meet-2019 was organized on the theme of “Emergency Nursing Care” by Sri Guru Ram Das College of Nursing and AMEI Society. Around 600 delegates from 50 colleges across 7 stages attended the conference. Pre-conference workshops on the topics of “CPR”, “Simulation based teaching” and “IV infusion” was conducted by Laerdal global health and department of Anaesthesia. Guest Lectures and quiz competition were also held. |

She presented a lecture on “Application of Nursing Theory in Patient Care”. She also chaired a Scientific Session. |

A seminar and exhibition was held. On next day panel discussion , Spot Rangoli competition, Essay Writing Competition and Poster Making Competition were held at nursing College |
